    Asbestos Removal

If your home was built before 1980, it is possible that asbestos is present in your house because it was widely used for a range of applications including insulation, vinyl flooring, popcorn ceilings and roofing shingles. While asbestos had its benefits, it can cause damage and pose as a health hazard. If you suspect your property may have asbestos, our contractor will work with you and provide a complete asbestos removal service to decontaminate your home.

    Here’s What Happens

Asbestos Abatement practices include containment, HEPA filtration and protective equipment.

Containment: The team will attempt to contain the asbestos within small areas and use plastic sheeting to keep dust from spreading through your home.

HEPA filtration: This can create a negative pressure and remove the contaminated dust from spreading away from the work
    area.

Protective equipment: Workers will protect themselves from exposure by wearing protective gear. This also helps prevent dust from attaching to clothes.

    Let Us Prepare

Preparation involves, planning, access, removal and accommodations.

Planning: You and your contractor must decide a timeline for asbestos removal.

Access: Ensure your contractor is able to easily access all areas that need asbestos to be removed.

Removal: Asbestos removal may involve removing furniture and artwork into storage or alternate areas.

Accommodations: As asbestos is considered harmful for health, the removal process may require you to or if you have pets, to stay someplace else.
